HDSLR – Part One

I’ve been scouring my sources for the most stylish/ stylised and interesting videos. The problem I’ve found is that anyone with a DSLR that can capture HD movies with a shallow depth-of-field, now believe that they are film makers, cinematographers and directors. Unfortunately this is not true and an already saturated field is becoming increasingly hard to navigate through. The clutter of poorly made, edited, over effected and pointless videos nearly drove me to despair. However, there are some brilliant examples of indie and budget film-making that utilise the cost effective, and image effective HDSLR. They stand out for their story telling qualities through script, editing and cinematography. These are some of my favourites.
