Audio/ Visual ideas & goings on.
Have I seen this before, maybe. It was too much of a tried and now tired horror. I wanted something a little bit new and different but this was not it. Very well made and some beautiful photography, especially the gliding shots of Hilary Swank running through the park. Though as beautifully made as these shots are, as commonplace they are to all other horror films to give the impression of normality and add break to the action and horror.
It did have moments where the action with Hilary Swank realising what was going on did play close to a real reaction. There also were not so many ridiculous & nonsensical scenes that typically only add irritating unexceptional proceedings to an already stereotyped idea.
Could have been better, but it was just a typical Hammer horror film with some nice cinematography.
